The middle school Halloween dance is still scheduled for Thursday, October 30th from 5-7 at the BJSHS Cafe. Admission is $5 and there will be food and drinks for sale. There will be contests and prizes and a grand prize for best costume. The proceeds go to the 7th graders who are putting on the dance.

HSES will not have school tomorrow, Thursday October 30th, so that Modern Pest can come in and treat the building for cockroaches.

HSES will have school on Friday, October 31st. The pumpkin decorating contest and Halloween celebrations will take place as regularly scheduled.

Here is some information about our upcoming Book Fair from 11/3-11/7. throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to purchase books during their regularly scheduled special time. Also, please note the Book Fair will remain open until 6PM on Thursday, 11/6.

On Friday, October 31st there will be a Pumpkin Decorating Contest at HSES.

Participants need to:
-Bring a decorated pumpkin to school the morning of October 31st and place it in the area assigned to your grade (TUESDAY and FRIDAY for Pre-K).
-Have your name, grade, and teacher's name on the pumpkin (the bottom or back is fine).
-Pick up your pumpkin at the end of the day.

**There will be a winner for EACH grade level and the results will be announced at the end of the day.
