Hartford-Sumner Elementary School

We are excited to announce that Pre-K registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open! All children who will turn 4 on or before October 15, 2026 are eligible to enroll in RSU 10's Pre-K program. We are anticipating offering a 4 day a week program for the 26-17 school year.

Getting started is easy, simply stop by your local elementary school to begin the registration process. You will need to bring the following documents to complete enrollment:
• Your child's birth certificate
• Your child's current immunization record
• Proof of Residency

Tomorrow begins Dr. Seuss Spirit Week at Hartford-Sumner Elementary School.

Monday is "Wear as many colors as you can" day in tribute to My Many Colored Days

Tuesday is "Wear stripes or red, white, and blue" in tribute to The Cat in the Hat

Wednesday is "Wacky hair or wacky clothes" in tribute to Wacky Wednesday

Thursday is "Wear a mustache or yellow and orange" in tribute to The Lorax

Friday is "PJ Day (no slippers)" in tribute to The Sleep Box

Also you are invited for a fun family literacy night on Wednesday, March 4th from 6:00-7:00PM in the HSES Gym. There will be Read Alouds, Activities, Raffles, and Goody Bags!!
