MVHS: Just a reminder that if you have a student attending the Prom on Saturday there are a few things to remember: 1. Students need to be at school on time (before 7:55 am) 2. Students need to attend the entire school day (unless they have senior privileges or have a doctors or other medical appointment). Students will need to have a note if they are dismissed. 3. MVHS: This is one more reminder that if you have a student in either 9, 10, 11th grade that they NEED to bring their laptop and charger to school this week as they will be taking the NWEA exams. These tests are incredibly important for MVHS as they show how much academic growth our students have made this school year! #falconsfly -Mr. Danylik

MVHS: If your student is in 9, 10, 11 grade please make sure they have their laptops and chargers at school everyday. We will be conducting NWEA testing next week Monday - Thursday (5/16 - 5/19) and students must have their computers to complete the testing. Thank you! #falconsfly - Mr. Danylik

MVHS: Senior Parent/Guardians - Students will begin creating their slide for the Senior Slideshow that is shown during Class Night tomorrow during long homeroom. Please make sure your student has the 5 pictures they want to include in their slide so they can work on it tomorrow!

MVHS: Around 10:00 am this morning there was an odor detected by one person in a classroom on the second floor. The Rumford Fire Department and Dead River came promptly and both swept the inside and outside of the building. Both the RFD and Dead River found nothing of concern and deemed the building safe for occupancy. All students and staff are safe and school will remain in session.

MVHS: I hope you all had a relaxing April Break! The end of the school year is going to come fast. Our seniors will graduate on June 9th and the rest of the student body will be done on June 17th. I am looking forward to a strong end of the 2021-2022 school year. Semester 2 Midterms! It is hard to believe but we are already halfway through the second semester! We will be holding our Semester 2 Midterm Exams on Thursday (3/31) and Friday (4/1). The bell schedule will be adjusted slightly but students will take exams for periods 1,3,5 on Thursday and periods 2,4,6 on Friday. Please encourage your students to prepare for these exams over the next few days! #falconsfly

I'm so excited to share that Mr. Thomas Danylik was hired last evening as the new Principal of Mountain Valley High School. For those who may not know, Mr. Danylik has been the Asst. Principal/Athletic Director at MVHS for the past four years. Please join me in congratulating him!
