MVHS: We wanted to give you an early heads up that Parent/Teacher Conferences this year will be on 11/9 from 12-6pm. Students will have an early release from school that day at 11:15 am. You do not need any appointments for this round of conferences. Just show up and see your student's teachers! MVHS: Falcon Families, over the next two days our 9-11 graders will take the NWEA. Our 9th and 11th graders will take the NWEA that we will use as a school to show student growth over their time at MVHS. Our 10th graders will take the Maine Through Year Assessment which is mandated by the State of Maine and those scores are reported to the DOE and are included in how our school is evaluated by the DOE. Needless to say, these exams are incredibly important for all grade levels and we want students to give their best efforts over the next couple of days. Students will take these exams in their regular English and math classes so there will be no interruptions to our schedule. Please encourage your student(s) to get to bed early and take advantage of our breakfast at school so they can do their best on the exams. The Through Year Assessment is a state mandated assessment for reading and math given to our 10th graders and their scores are reported to the State of Maine Department of Education.
