TO: RSU #10 BUILDING COMMITTEE AND PARENTS OF INCOMING 2025-26 FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS
FROM: MATT GILBERT, ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF RSU #10: As we near the end of this round of state building applications, we’re expecting to learn how our submissions ranked by the end of the summer. At the same time, the need for additional space at HSES—especially to support full-time Pre-K—is becoming more pressing as we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year. To keep everyone informed and involved, we’re hosting a meeting on August 11th from 5:00–6:30 PM at BJSHS. We’ll share updates on the building application process and discuss the growing space needs in our schools.
Since RSU #10 Building Committee members have been part of this conversation from the beginning, we’d truly appreciate your continued input and hope you can join us. We would also like to invite parents of students entering fifth grade to be part of this important discussion. Please call the HSES main office if you have any questions.
Wishing you a relaxing summer—hope to see you on the 11th!
