The School Day SAT test that was supposed to take place in April 2020, for thecurrent juniors, has been postponed to October 14, 2020. The Class of 2021 will betaking this School Day SAT test, which is required by the State of Maine.There is NO CHARGE to take this test.
MVHS will also be offering an SAT test on Saturday August 29, 2020 for those of you who would like to take more than one SAT test before you start applying to colleges. Students usually start applying to colleges later in the fall. You can register for the August 29th SAT test now by signing into your CollegeBoard account at collegeboard.org.
In addition to the August and October SAT tests MVHS will also be offering SAT tests in October, November & December. Please note that there is a fee for the Saturday SAT tests unless you qualify for free & reduced lunch. Contact Ms. Fortin (tfortin@rsu10.org), in Guidance, to find out if you qualify for an SAT test fee waiver.

The University of Maine System Admission departments hopes that you and your family are staying healthy during this challenging time with the pandemic that is affecting all of our lives. As schools and universities are shut down across the state we want to provide an opportunity for you and your current students to learn more about the public Universities in the great state of Maine.
We recognize that students may be facing unique challenges during the current pandemic including not being able to visit college campuses. The University of Maine System will be offering a Zoom session on Thursday, May 28th at 6:30pm to provide updates on new initiatives at our universities, the admissions process, and how we will be supporting students and their families as they work through the college selection process.
