This week will be remote. The Blue Cohort has finals for periods 1, 2 & 3 on Monday and 4, 5 & 6 on Tuesday. The Silver Cohort has finals for periods 1, 2 & 3 on Thursday and 4, 5 & 6 on Friday. Oxford county schools have been designated Yellow. That means no after school activities until we return to Green. We will continue with our hybrid learning model. 9th graders will attend 4 days a week. 10th, 11th and 12th graders will attend 2 days a week. #FalconsMaskUp

Two updates for members of the Mountain Valley Community. First, if you are traveling outside of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont for the holiday you will need to have a negative COVID test or quarantine for 14 days before returning to MVHS. Second, beginning Monday the 30th all in-person 9th graders will be attending Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This will add 35-40 students. We are able to do this and stay within the state COVID 19 guidelines. If you have any questions please contact the high school. As I wrap up my fourth year as your Superintendent, I am reflecting on how thankful I am to be a part of RSU 10. I am proud of our District and how hard all of our staff are working to continue our quest to do better for our students. Everyday I see staff and students striking that balance between being healthy and safe and being present in-person and participating virtually. What a challenge this has been for all of us!
As we continue our work to be better with remote learning we also are seeking ways to allow students to be in-person learning for more time and have more students move from fully remote to in-person. This is being considered by each school individually.
PLEASE continue following our guidelines to stay healthy and safe! Help us keep Oxford County Green!!
