MVHS: Good afternoon, we want to make you all aware that within the next two weeks, Mountain Valley High School will be performing an ALICE drill. ALICE is our response protocol if we were to ever have an active threat at MVHS. Our students have already done an activity in their homerooms regarding various situations and how they would respond but it is important that we also complete a drill in the Fall and the Spring. Each time we perform an ALICE drill we take time to debrief as a school and we will have counseling services available to any student in need. Keeping our students safe is our number one priority and these drills are a necessary component to our safety. If you have any questions, please call the main office. -Mr. Danylik & Mr. Milledge

MVHS: Over the next few days, you will see Progress Reports coming home in the mail! Please take a look carefully and see how your student is doing through the 1st quarter of the school year. You will notice that if your student is enrolled in Region 9, a grade will not appear. Moving forward, we will only put Region 9 on Reports Cards, which are sent home at the end of first and second semester. MVHS: Tomorrow MVHS will be the polling site for the Town of Rumford. If you have a student who drives to school or if you drop off and pick up your student, this is a reminder that parking for students and drop off and pick up must happen at the first entrance (near the main office). Buses will also be doing drop off and pick up at the first entrance so please be careful of flashing red lights on buses as they should never be passed when the lights are flashing. It will be a busy morning in the front parking lot so please be patient so that everything can be done safely and efficiently. Thanks everyone! Mr. Danylik & Mr. Milledge
