Here is a picture of our Good Citizens for the month of April. The character trait for the month of April was Positivity/Optimism. Just a reminder that tomorrow (Thursday, May 9th) is our Castles, Kilts, and Kings Finale Day.
During the course of the day, students will be learning about traditional Irish music, all things Scotland, play some British Isles bingo, and participate in a hallway scavenger hunt.
Parents are invited to join in the fun beginning at 4:30PM with an Open House that will run until 6:00PM. The students have been learning about all things "British Isles." Come see what they have been learning about.
There will also be a pot luck dinner from 5:00-5:45PM for those who would like to bring a food item and enjoy others.
Lastly, from 6:00-7:00PM, HSES will host an Irish Music Concert. Enjoy some toe-tapping music from Portland based musicians Tom Rota and friends performing traditional Irish music on the fiddle, concertina, accordion, and Irish pipes!
Come on out and enjoy the event. During this community event we ask that your child(ren) stay with you.
