In light of recent national events around school safety, we want to share some of the steps RSU #10 is taking to make our buildings safe. It begins with properly closing locking all of our doors throughout the school day. Next all staff has received ALICE training. We require schools to conduct a variety of crisis response drills. Another layer of security is provided by our School Resource Officers working collaboratively with the various law enforcement agencies. This is a scary topic for both kids and adults. Being prepared reduces risks and anxiety. If you would like more information please contact your local school, or the RSU 10 Central Office.
