Mountain Valley High School

The Vermont Secretary of Education, Daniel French, visited Mountain Valley High School to learn how Maine high schools have partnered with Jobs for Maines Graduates. The MVHS JMG program, lead by Specialist Larry Thornton, shared their story. The conversation covered a variety of topics which ranged from the selection process to the value of the program. The students were an outstanding resource for the visitors from Vermont and were extremely professional. Later in the day the group was joined by Senator Lisa Kiem and Maine's Commissioner of Education Pender Makin. Good things are happening at MVHS
