Dear Meroby parents, there was a water main break on Cross St. The town of Mexico has shut off water and therefore we will be releasing MES students at 9:15 this morning, December 18th. We anticipate school will be back in session tomorrow, Friday, December 19th. Thank you.
In order to assist people in visualizing the area that has been under discussion, here is a video of the MVCS Athletic Prep Area that is adjacent to the gymnasium used for instruction PreK-5. Grades 6-8 physical ed. classes will be in the "auxiliary" gymnasium located next to the middle school wing of the school. Not where they will have access to the Athletic Prep Area.

I would like to announce the recent hiring of two Administrators!
James "Jim" Hodgkin will begin the year as the Principal at Rumford Elementary School and will be collaborating with Dr. Carrie Luce as students and staff move into Mountain Valley Community School later this fall.
Diana Charest will join our Administrative team as one of two Assistant Special Services Directors. Diana has worked at Hartford Sumner Elementary School for 20 years. She will be primarily serving HSES, BJSHS and MVHS.
Please join me in welcoming them to their new roles!
