Dear MVMS Students, Parents, and Guardians,
On Monday, January 25, 2021 we will be returning to school in our hybrid model. We continue to work to bring our 5th and 6th grade students back to school 4 days per week because we believe we can safely meet the guidelines.
As long as no other variables interfere, we propose the following:
Timeline to Start 4 Day Learning
- The Week of January 25-29, 2021: All MVMS grades will remain in the hybrid model. Lifeskills students will continue their current schedule of 4 days per week . Remote student schedules remain as usual.
- Monday, February 1, 2021: All 5th grade hybrid students will begin coming to school 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Wednesday remains an at home learning day. Students must still do online attendance check ins on Wednesdays.
- Monday, February 8, 2021: All 6th grade hybrid students will begin coming to school 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Wednesday remains an at home learning day. Students must still do online attendance check ins on Wednesdays.
We will continue to monitor our ability to keep our students safe and follow the required guidelines. If the guidelines change at the state level, or we have COVID-19 cases in our school, we must be prepared to respond with student and staff safety in mind.
We are all looking forward to seeing our students in person next week.
