Dear 5th and 6th Grade Students, Parents, and Guardians
We continue to believe that we need to bring our 5th and 6th grade students back to school
4 days per week. We have many staff out of school due to required quarantines and cannot
meet the CDC Guidelines for Health and Safety at this time. Therefore, we have decided to
maintain the hybrid model for all grades at Mountain Valley Middle School for the week of
January 11, 2021. We will re-evaluate the situation with the following timeline in mind:
Possible New Timeline to Start 4 Day Learning 5th Grade - Start January 19, 2021 6th Grade - Start January 25, 2021
A decision will be made on Friday, January 15, 2021 regarding this timeline
Please note: Life Skills students will continue their current schedule of 4 days per week.
