This year HSES has made changes to our Good Citizen Awards. In the past, a student had to consistently follow the Way of the Wolf (Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible), complete their homework and classroom assignments, and serve as a role model to others in the school in order to be considered. Now, teachers are focusing on a particular character trait each month, and are asked to submit names of students who show improvement over the course of the month in exhibiting that particular character trait each month.
