I want to begin by thanking parents for their patience in working with us during the first week of school as we experimented and tweaked with our procedure for getting your child to you at the end of the day. We think we finally have found something that allows us to do that in an efficient manner.
Although many of you are already familiar with our procedure I just wanted to touch upon a couple of the key points. Parents may begin signing the child out at 12:45PM each day. At 12:55PM, the office staff provides me with a list of the students who are going to be picked up. At 1:00PM, the staff on this duty gather the children from the list and deliver them to their parents. Once that has taken place, the office staff provides me with a second list of students who were signed out after 12:55PM. The staff on duty then gathers those students to deliver them to their parents.
